Williams elected to HRSSC, PHT, PHLIP boards
Charles E. Williams, FACHE, president & CEO of the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, SC, has been elected to the boards of Healthcare Risk Services South Carolina (HRSSC, formerly PHT Services, Ltd.), Palmetto Hospital Trust (PHT) and Palmetto Healthcare Liability Insurance Program (PHLIP). Mr. Williams’s term began immediately and will expire on December 31, 2020.

Mr. Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in community health/health studies and a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Texas Woman’s University, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. Prior to joining the Regional Medical Center in December 2017, he most recently served as vice president of performance standards/clinical operations for Tenet Healthcare Corporation. Mr. Williams is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and has more than 20 years of healthcare experience in operations leadership and business development.
